Driven by dual HLA (High-response Linear Actuator) motors, quick and quiet autofocus is provided, greatly benefiting the quality of both photo and video content taken with this lens. Its floating focus configuration creates significantly less movement in each focus group, resulting in extremely responsive focusing performance. Two OS modes are available. Mode 1 is for general shooting, while Mode 2 features Sigma's Intelligent OS algorithm and is ideal for panning shots and sports capturing.
