With this design, the camera automatically detects subjects such as birds, humans, animals, cars, airplanes, and trains in order to keep them in focus and track their movements. IP53 rated, the OM-1 Mark II offers superior weather protection and withstands some of the harshest conditions in the field. Its tough construction renders the camera freezeproof, dust and splash resistant, and operable at temperatures as low as 14°F.

Vertical video is now available, opening up more compositional options when shooting and saving you time in post-production. DCI & UHD 4K video recording are supported at up to 60p and 10-bit 4:2:0 sampling. Full HD recording is possible at high-speed rates up to 240 fps for slow-motion playback. Supporting up to ND128, this function digitally simulates the effects of an optical neutral density filter so you can create slow shutter speed effects in your images. With Live ND, you can see the effects through the viewfinder and on the LCD monitor.
