The Samyang 16mm T2.6 Full-Frame Cine DS Lens for Nikon F-Mount features a multilayer coating process for consistently-rendered color from lens to lens. The industry standard geared focus and iris rings share a common position with other Cine DS lenses, eliminating the time it would take to reposition a matte box, follow focus, or other accessories when switching lenses. The lens consists of 14 glasses in 11 groups and is used to create the utmost cinematic creativity. The 2 glass aspherical lenses, 2 extra-low distortion lenses, and 2 high refractive lenses are used to effectively create the flow of the light and to minimize the color aberrations and distortion. When used with a full-frame sensor camera, this 16mm lens produces a 106.9°, super-wide angle of view. A cine lens optimally designed for a professional follow focus system, thanks to the quiet and smooth de-clicked focus and aperture gear rings. Also, the distance scale and T numbers are marked on both sides of the lens for convenience when filming.
